What started as a neighborhood meat market has grown into a destination for premium meats, specialty foods, grilling, cooking classes, wine events, the Big Green Egg, and everything tha brings people together around the table.

Wassi’s Meat Market opened its doors in Melbourne, Florida in 1986 with a simple idea: offer exceptional meat, treat people right, and provide the kind of personal service that keeps customers coming back.
Decades later, that same philosophy still guides everything we do.
Wassi’s has remained part of the Melbourne community through generations of families, backyard cookouts, holiday dinners, birthdays, celebrations, and ordinary weeknight meals that became a little more special because of what was on the table.

The Quality Starts At

Wassi’s has built its reputation on quality meat and knowledgeable service.
Our selection includes Choice and Prime beef, domestic Wagyu, Australian Wagyu, and A5 Japanese Wagyu. Steaks are hand-cut fresh, and our USDA Prime dry-aged steaks are aged and handcrafted in-house for 35 days.
You’ll also find cuts that can be difficult to locate elsewhere, including Denver steaks, tri-tip, picanha, and other butcher favorites, along with hand-cut pork and specialty sausages made in-house.
Whether you know exactly what you want or need help choosing the right cut, just ask. Helping customers make a great meal is part of what Wassi’s has always been about.
